This morning’s service will be livestreamed at 9:30 a.m. and can be accessed in real time via the Fairfields UMC Facebook page OR at a later time, as all livestreamed worship services since March 15th are available on the Fairfields UMC Facebook page.

Please note: It is no longer necessary to register attendance or fill out a health questionnaire in advance of the service.

The Northumberland Charge office is once again open during regular office hours (Tuesday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) and masks are optional. 

The offering for the past week (September 13-19) at Fairfields UMC was $352. The Fairfields offering to date is $70,785.57. The offering needed each week is $1,995.

The Fairfields UMC Indoor Yard Sale will be open on several dates in upcoming weeks. Stay tuned for more information. Also, you may contact Jill Davis to make an appointment to attend the yard sale on an individual basis. Call 804-580-8127.

The Watch for Awakening is an ongoing 24-7 prayer movement, comprised of seven prayer watches (consisting of roughly fifty days each) over a period of a year. If you would like to participate, please visit to register your participation and choose a time to pray. Tuesday, September 28  12:00 Noon – Northumberland Charge UMM lunch meeting at the Lottsburg Café. Dutch treat. All men of Afton UMC and Fairfields UMC are members of the UMM and therefore are invited to UMM events.

Tuesday, September 28  6:30 p.m. – Bible study at Afton UMC.

Wednesday, September 29  6:30 p.m.  – Tone Chime rehearsal and 7:00 p.m. Choir rehearsal.

Thursday, September 30  10:30 a.m. – Bible study at Fairfields UMC followed by Lunch with the Pastor at the Tavern Restaurant in Heathsville. 

Saturday, October 16   – Regretfully, the Fall Festival has been cancelled due to rising COVID cases in the area.

Saturday, November 6  2:00 p.m. – Charge Conference via Zoom at Fairfields UMC.
